I thought I was there for the dry aged ribeye. Or maybe for the feeling of exclusivity. And though I tried to tell myself I was there despite the bear, in a way I was there for that too.

Cow by Bear has been steadily making its presence known throughout foodie circles with what may be the most ludicrously literal concept in local dining history: a steak dinner cooked by a bear. Rather, a pricey 45 day aged ribeye cooked by a chef wearing a cartoonish bear costume.
